Kevin Christensen is an accomplished videographer, having spent the past 13 years working in production and post-production, creating documentary videos for the National Parks, State Parks, and nature preservation organizations. He joins The Storyteller Studios team from southern California in October.
Kevin said he enjoys video production and working with people who share his passion.

Kevin, 36, has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Biola University and is relocating to Springfield, Illinois, with his wife. He caught the filmmaking bug in high school when he discovered computer animation. “Before long, I was making animated short films, and two won awards at my university’s student film festival. In my senior year, I co-founded an indie production and distribution company and produced several web series and feature films, which ranked among the highest viewed videos on YouTube at the time,” said Kevin.
Kevin intends on continuing to pursue excellence in his field by sharpening his skill set and embracing new methods and technology. “Most importantly, I want to empower others to do the same.”
The Storyteller Studios Principal and Executive Producer, Josh Hester, said Kevin is a highly skilled and creative video director and editor with more than a decade of experience creating documentary films. “At The Storyteller Studios, our focus is on creating compelling corporate films, online marketing video, and TV commercials for businesses and non-profits. Kevin has the skills needed to help us continue to provide excellence and consistency in our filmmaking endeavors. He will be a great asset to our team and our clients. We are lucky he has chosen The Storyteller Studios and Springfield, Illinois, as his new home.”
Josh launched The Storyteller Studios in March of 2013 since the business has received seven Communicator Awards, four Silver Telly Awards, an Emmy nomination, a Silver Hugo Award, and the Gold Aster Award. This year, The Storyteller Studios was one of 12 businesses listed on the University of Illinois Springfield Good as Gold Business Honor Roll for contributions to the community.
