We are so excited to launch our second annual Springfield Buy Local Month.
During November we encourage members of the public to support local businesses in the run-up to the holidays.
Photos by Hannah Draughan and videos by Crowdson Creative, featuring Local First Springfield members, will be shared on Facebook and Instagram. Funding was kindly provided by Levi, Ray & Shoup.
Our month-long campaign will culminate in 'Home for the Holidays,' an event organized in collaboration with MacArthur Boulevard Association on Small Business Saturday, which falls on November 30th.
There will be Christmas trees and wreaths for sale, a Santa and Mrs. Claus, a winter wonderland photo scene with a professional photographer, and a cocktail bar. ‘Home for the Holidays’ gift boxes, featuring locally made products, will also be available to order – and will include shipping.
Springfield Buy Local Month is a great way to remind people to support local businesses and organizations during the holidays. One of the main goals of Local First Springfield is to encourage the public to support local independent businesses year-round.
